I would try to pay a little less but they are popular cars and well made

Thank you! I saw the 6 speed automatic transmission is pretty good, but a few problems with shuddering. Anything I can do to prevent this? Transmission fluid spill and fill or transmission flush? And should I go with Toyota transmission fluid or an off brand asian transmission fluid( Maxx Life)?

Change the transmission fluid every 60k miles. Do not flush it. You can use any brand with correct specs. (WS ATF is the right one for Toyotas)

Thank you! Would you expect there be any damage to the transmission at 80,000, I don't think the previous owner changed it ? Anything else to look out for this model year?

I will almost guarantee this car will develop the shudder. My daughter has a 2012 sitting in the shop right now waiting on a rebuilt transmission. $5000.
