Would a classic car make a good daily driver? If so, which ones would?
I would say no. I mean, it would take a lot to make them truly reliable and even then, do you really want to deal with the headaches of no A/C, power steering, etc.
Carbs are fun....until you have to keep tinkering with setting the points every time someone sneezes. Fuel Injection for me all the way.
my thoughts precisely
I think it depends honestly. I wouldn't daily drive a classic if parts where hard to find because of being afraid I couldn't fix it for a while. But I guess I have a "classic" 90' F150 and its my daily driver but yet parts are very easy to find. But I will say that driving a classic is much much much more fun to drive and turns heads. I find pride in driving an older truck just cause it shows that your at the very least a DIY kind of person who might know a thing or two about cars and trucks. But always remember classics eat gas like crazy lol back when fuel was well below the $2 a gallon price lol.
I like trucks so 60's 70's and 80's trucks are my personal favorite. But anything with a carburetor is fun!
"good" is a subjective term, and classic cars are a matter of personal taste.
