2012 Toyota Camry Stalls Continuously in Traffic

Hi everyone,

I have got a 2012 Toyota Camry 4Cyl, in January 2021 the car kept stalling in traffic. I changed the fuel pump and used liqui moly injection cleaner and the car drove well up on till last week and the problem resurfaced again. so I decided to change the entire fuel pump assembly with new spark plugs and the problem still persists. I noticed on live data (MAF) Details was over 4.5g with just the engine running. After 30 minutes when the car wants to stall I noticed the car went off with live data (MAF) 2.7g. So I cleaned the MAF but its still the same thing I thought about getting a new MAF sensor but I'm worried about throwing parts to the problem considering I have spent money on fuel pumps and spark plugs with no solution. I will really appreciate your help/insight on this issue cause I have spent a lot of time and money.

Replace with new Toyota MAF. The idle reading should never 4.5g/s on a 4 banger.

No misfire codes? Does it idle OK (in neutral) when cold? When hot? What RPM is it at when it stalls?

Vacuum leaks in your intake system could cause this - triple check for that, clean your throttle body as well would be a good next step. After that, you could have to see if you have an ignition problem.

It idles well at the cold start until the engine gets warm then it stalls. It drives well but will always stall at a standstill
