Hey Scotty I wanted to know your thoughts on a 2012 Toyota Camry XLE v6 engine, is it less reliable than the normal v4 and are the repair cost a lot more aswell?

The V6 engines are pretty good the only major issues with this generation is transmission shudder so make sure that is fixed For more information, check out the Bulletins list on the Used Car FAQ page of the forum.

The Toyota V6 engine is very reliable. The repair cost is a bit higher compared to 4 cylinder, but not that much since these engines were built correctly and they barely need to be worked on.
