2012 VW Golf 5cyl 2.5l
I got this car for $1,000 from a friend who purchased a new jeep with the understanding that it needed some maintenance done. The clutch is starting to slip and I know that VW's can be really hard/expensive to work on. Is replacing a clutch on a 2012 golf an easy process or would the juice not be worth the squeeze.

With very few exceptions you have to take the engine or transmission out to replace a clutch, so it's a big job.
