Dear Sir, I have a 2012 VW Jetta SE - Automatic Transmission has started, for lack of a better word, Slipping when it gets heated up. I will make the sounds of usual, but will not engage and move the car. I wait 10-15 minutes, cool off, and it works again?
Please let me know what is causing this and what I need to do to repair it - If You Would Please?
Ronnie

This sounds like there's a transmission fluid leak. When my old Pontiac starts to hesitate when going into gear, especially when it's hot, that alerts me to fill it with transmission fluid again. It has a very small leak.
Ensure the transmission fluid level is correct.
Also, you neglected to include the mileage and any maintenance that has been done to the transmission over the years (that thing is 13 years old now). If the transmission is slipping, the fluid is fine and you've performed little or no maintenance over the transmission's life, that may be your problem.
Please let me know what is causing this and what I need to do to repair it
You did not state mileage. Has the transmission been properly serviced over the last 13 years?
Assuming the problem is not being caused by something simple like low fluid, to repair it you would probably need to install a remanufactured replacement transmission.
However it is possible you have an electrical problem like a bad solenoid. You would need a transmission expert to diagnose that using a fancy scan tool.
