Hey Scotty, My Racing 02 Civic with 67,000 miles has problems with the torque converter clutch solenoid. It gave me P01753 and it put the car in limp mode. I use to have a problem back then but it “fixed” itself. I inspected the connector and it was loose but it won’t lock in with the solenoid. Could their be a short or open circuit or will the connector to the solenoid need to be replaced or the solenoid itself?
It's possible. Pretty hard to say without seeing it.
@imperator I do have another transmission for my car and I’ll try to swap the TC solenoid plus buying a replacement connector.
I just swap TCC solenoid and the solenoid from the other transmission had a cut connector with same wire colors. I tried connecting the other connector to the solenoid that is on my current transmission and it won’t able to lock in, only the other would. Now with the solenoid swap out, the connector that is in my harness would able to connect but won’t lock. I just let it go but still gonna splice the good connector to my harness. Will update soon.
