2013-2019 Ford Fusion

Scotty, I’ve been looking for a larger vehicle as I’m starting to become less and less tolerant of the lack of space in my 2013 Honda Civic. I was looking at 2016-2019 Camrys and Accords but then I noticed the used Ford Fusions are a bit cheaper and I heard their almost as reliable. While at CarMax, the 2018 Fusions were even cheaper than the 2016 Civics. Do Ford Fusions have any known issues or are they truly as reliable as the Hondas and Toyotas ?

The Ford Fusion has less Horsepower than the Civic, but the gas mileage is about the same, and they have the same capacity.  I would say go for the Fusion, Scotty has said in the past that they are good cars too.

Hope this helped!

In the long run, you better off having Honda or Toyota.

Too many problems.  Here is a glimpse:

Also, stay away from the forced induction GDI engines (I.e. Ford’s Ecoboost engines) if you care about long term reliability and durability.  The Ford Fusion will never last as long as the Toyota or Honda if you plan on keeping the car for a very long time.
