[Solved] Mercedes GLS reliability opinions

Is Mercedes GLS SUV reliable? What common issues that I should watch out for? I don't expect it to be reliable like Lexus. But it is close to it if I take care of it well? Thank you

For a little while. Also being a German car the new parts and repairs will be expensive.

Not at all. Maybe for first couple of years if you buy it new. If you really want a Mercedes, lease one.

You want a German car? Lease one. Problem solved. They tend to fall apart right very early on.

Are you buying new or used? How many miles do you expect to put on it throughout your ownership period? Will it mainly be highway miles or city (stop and go) usage? Are you able to work on cars (esp. Mercedes) yourself?

will buy it certified with 1 year warranty. I drive moderately, and I like to take good care of my cars.

I don't know how to work on car that well. 3/4 highway and 1/4 city. about~14k miles per year
