Hey, can anyone pitch in on this. 2013 Chevrolet volt proximity key not detected code u0168 intermittent no history on this car. The car remote works fine placing the key on the sensing area starts the car every time, programmed a new key and same results no feed back. Pressing the buttons on door handle does nothing either. so rolling a bad proximity key out as new key don't work either. Searches online and found so many results with same issue but no final results so far. Does anyone ever came across this volt problem that can say where to start the diagnostics at? Thanks for any replies

Hello everyone.

I got a question about the 2013 volt key not detected only starts with key in sensing area on top of dash sensing area. I see bulletins about interference but nothing there. Programmed a second key and it programmed good but no proximity still. Does anyone have any suggestions. Push to start only no blade key. And no history on car also did noticed that the battery for ev was completely 00000 so only gas engine no electric functional as the owner thought it was a good idea to buy electric car but has no where to plug in. Anyway thank you all for any suggestions.  Oh yes and no dtc's at all for keyless entry or antennas.

Yes sorry for that, and thanks for the information. I can't go back to see my previous posts for so.e reason unless I go page by page which I tried and there is a lot of content here. I'll have to find a work around this. Thank you.

I guess that's to simple wow. I just went to where you said and bam right there, you know I tried going back to my posts a few times and could never find them and you just pointed out something so simple Thank You.
On thebother hand I Found that the fuse for peps was burned out ( weird ) so I replaced it and it's been a few hours and still working. I know that it stays on all the time but why would it burn just like that. Could the module be going bad but if it is why would it not burn the fuse as i put in the new one. Going back to check tomorrow if it's blown if it is I'm calling a bad module draining to much power and blowing fuse in the morning as the car just going to sit here not used.
