I have a 2013 Chrysler 300C awd V6 with 175,000 miles and a hydraulic power steering system. My power steering keeps going on and off. It tends to work about 20% of the time and that 20% of the time is always when the outdoor temperature is below 50 degrees. The dealership pulled the codes and said they believe it could be the pump wiring or computer however they don’t know. I personally changed the pump and the fluids and nothing changed. Still works occasionally in the cold but never on warm days. Do you have any idea what could cause this?
moisture in the fluid? the seals could be bad from overfilling the fluid
idk not a mechanic

Would it be a good idea to change the fluid again? I had changed it this summer but it had no effect on the malfunction
idk, i know little about power steering,
other than how to fill it and check the levels.
my moisture in the system idea came from google
