Just want to know can you help with issue I'm having with my 2013 ford focus 1.6 diesel 95ps have it 10 years regularly serviced well looked after only 140,000kms but lacks acceleration and rough idle I watched one of your videos where you cleaned the mass airflow sensor and I did that and the difference was massive but it only lasted 2 months and back to normal, my garage are saying that it could be injectors or maybe a new airflow sensor would you know anything about this.

You should cover all the basics first.
- Make sure it has a clean air filter.
- Inspect the spark plugs.
- Change the PCV valve.
- Look for vacuum leaks
- run some injector cleaner
then more advanced stuff...
- measure fuel pressure
- check exhaust backpressure
The thing that is going to save you a ton of time and trial & error is a diagnostic tool
- run a full system scan with a professional tool
- check idle fuel trims
- analyze live data
Thanks for your help it's a 1.6 diesel nothing showing up in diagnostics with ford.
Apologies. I overlooked the diesel part. Obviously some of the items like spark plugs won't apply then. My experience with diesels is very limited.
