Hello Scotty,
I have a 2013 Honda Accord LX 2.4L I4 116,500 miles Manual Transmission. Bought the car 1000 miles ago and the idle was lower around 700 RPM, but now after the car warms up it idles about 900-950 rpm. Recently Changed the Mass Air Flow sensor (replaced with Hitachi OEM) and O2 upstream sensor (Denso OEM), and cleaned the throttle body with carb cleaner and rags. The idle does not fluctuate, but stays steady. Is this normal, if not what should I do? Thank you, Chris.
Cleaned the Throttle again, bought the proper scan tool and did just as the video told me. Worked like a charm, thank you both for the information.
Well that is a little bit high you might also clean the mass airflow sensor and make sure the throttle is whistle clean and perhaps then pay a mechanic to do an idle relearn process on it
The help is much appreciated, Scotty. Made sure the throttle was whistle clean, then bought a better scanner and did the idle relearn myself...Worked like a charm. It's nice to finally have a quality vehicle...i'm now a Toyota or Honda man, as I value my money.
