2013 Honda CRV - AC clicking/chatter noise and intermittent buzz noise from rear

85k miles - When the AC is on, there is occasionally a kind of clicking noise, the best I can compare it to is like someone clicking a switch on and off really quickly, it's rather quiet and doesn't stay on all the time. I don't really notice any other symptoms when this happens, the AC blows ice cold, but it's got me thinking if it's something I need to get looked at early on.

The other thing is this weird electrical buzz noise, which comes from the rear and lasts approx. 1 second. This happens only when the car has been started and is going at about 20-30mph, it happens when I have my foot on the gas and it only happens about twice - it will not replicate unless I switch off the car and do the same thing from a full stop. Could this be some sort of auto-door lock malfunction? Or something related to the torque converter possibly? I have a bad one that shudders sometimes, have had fluid changed, not flushed, but decided to keep it (not under warranty and was informed that a new one is not guaranteed to fix the issue 100%).

I really like this car, I updated from a 2001 Grand Cherokee, but the noises it's making can drive me up a hill sometimes, though the Cherokee was probably so loud in comparison I just didn't notice any noises before.

Any wisdom would be appreciated, thank you.

Can you make a YouTube video of the noise/s & post the link here?

Yeah I can try that, hope the audio will be clear enough as it isn't very loud per se

Okay I made a couple of videos with both sounds audible.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NosyHXF78YM - this is the clicking coming from the dash.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-cP4kkSnd8I - this is the short buzz sound that I described.

Anybody have any idea what those sounds might mean? It is most audible with headphones on.

Thanks

Your AC compressor does not run continuously. It has an electric relay that turns on and off an electric clutch which cycles on and off your compressor. Either or both of these can make a clicking noise.

In the rear of your car there is a fuel pump and an evaporative emissions system. Both of these often make a buzzing noise, typically upon startup.

If you're hearing chattering noises from the AC your compressor clutch may be worn. In some cases there is an air gap specification for the clutch plate that can be adjusted with shims.

For the clicking from the dash, it sounds like it’s blend door actuator or blower motor related. Start simple by checking the cabin air filter and then the blower motor itself, for any debris.

The second video, you have to pinpoint the general location of the noise first, -
