2013 Honda Fit Base, 87,000 miles, Automatic. No engine lights showing; no scan for codes.
I bought the car in November 2019 at 71,000 miles. It had a decent maintenance history per CarFax, though I changed out the fluids over the ensuing year and a half (tranny, crankcase, cooling system and brakes) because the history did not show any fluid changes other than crankcase oil.
The first scheduled valve adjustment is at 100,000 miles, per the owner's manual.
I changed the spark plugs in 2021 at 85,000 miles (owner's manual says 100,000 miles or every 7 years), which was maybe a year late, but this did not improve the roughness. MPG is normal.
Q: Any thoughts on why the car sounds like it is running a bit rough? (Not terrible, though). THANK YOU!!
I say clean throttle body and MAF sensor. There is Scotty’s vid for that - just search for it. That will improve things for you. Start there, …
