I was recently told to add bolt ons to increase cars performance, not sure what he ment?
I have Cold air intake and a Thorton stage 3 OBD chip now, It seems to work well most of the
time but sometimes feels stock, What else other than A turbo can be done,
I have thought about getting a Turbo from used Veloster with intercooler but do not have
the Scan tool to upgrade computer for Dyno, also cant find a Dyno tune in my area, Any suggestions
for bolt on?
Realized that Bolton doesn't do much in modern vehicles because computers have to be programmed the only thing that really gives extra power is rebuilding the engine with stronger components or adding a turbocharger or supercharger which cost a small fortune to do correctly and then has to be reprogrammed by a pro
Thank you and I appreciate your answer and time you put in to respond, however, I collegue on your site told me to put a bolt on my car, I was just looking for examples of such. Not necessarily going to do so. I will probably add a turbo since it has the same GDI engine as the turbo version .Ive found turbos with intercoolers for less than 800$ just need to get it programmed.
