Hi Scottie. My 2013 Passat has had two recent incidents. Oct it was stuck in Reverse. Mechanics did a repair job with the linkage repair kit. 160 bucks. January now it got stuck on park! 117K miles and gently driven. After the first repair the linkage felt loose and it would not go down to Sport mode ( non DSG trans) no dealerworries its a 2K plus mechatronic part gone and its hi cost labor n parts job. Should I junk it? Fix it? Its engine still is smooth n strong. Please help ..anything else can it be besides the mechatromic?

Junk lt those are endless money pits or sell it for parts
