[Solved] 2013 Suzuki SX4 Airbag/restraint light not going off

Hello all, I have the 2013 Suzuki SX4 with about 75k miles which I am trying to sell now, but the airbag light won't go out. This is the light on the instrument cluster. I am not sure how long it has been staying on, as I confess I have not paid much attention to the light.

From the bit of research I have done, the light should go out after starting the vehicle. Anyone have any ideas about this?  Maybe best first step is go get it scanned and reset all codes?

Reset the codes first and see if it comes back or not. If it comes back again, you should scan it and find the code.

The sx4 had a recall for occupant detection that required the passenger seat Cushion to be replaced.. I would get it scanned and most commonly on those the occupant sensor is the culprit

I went to several auto parts stores that say they scan for free, but 2 of them say they do not scan for airbag issues and the 3rd (auto zone) says that the scanner showed a code (7300) but their computer inside did not define the code.

I think this is a liability issue that they do not want to diagnose safety restraint issues.  Anyone have any other suggestion besides spending $50+ just for a scan?  I would rather consider just buying a decent scanner for the same cost.
