I called the local Toyota dealership today to ask about the 2012-2014 torque converter TSB where they change it. They said it is still good until August of next year or 150K miles. Is this true? That seems insane to me. The car only has 49k miles on it. I haven’t bought the car yet. They let me take it home to drive until Friday and have my mechanic put it on the lift with me tomorrow night to look it over.
don't buy it was warranties are absolute BS the only replace if it's acting up so if yours isn't acting up when you bring it in they test it and normally they say it isn't acting up they will do nothing.benefit breaks after their period of warranty you got to pay for it so look for something else don't buy a known fault vehicle
I totally agree with @scottykilmer. It is a TSB not a recall. So, 99.9% they refuse to do that for free.
