Hey Scotty. Wanted to get your thoughts on a 2013 rav4 limited awd. It has 70k on it and we just bought it we are the second owners. Clean car and had it checked out by our trusted mechanic. Do you have any experience with these? One small issue is when I rest my arm on the center console I feel vibration randomly. I have seen online that it could be a torque converter issue and Toyota may still cover it. Have you had any experience with this? Can I just keep driving it? Should I get it diagnosed unsure how easy that would be since it’s intermittent. We got a bumper to bumper warranty on it so cost shouldn’t be an issue. The second question is road noise with these awd rav4 is there anyway to get a smoother ride? Tire recommendations? Thanks!

For the tire recommendation, get yourself a set of Michelin Primacy. I’ve found they offer the best ride for crossovers.

Well if it does it and you shift it into neutral and it stops it very well could be the torque converter and if so I would film a video of it on my phone if I were you and go to Toyota and show them to see if they would fix the torque converter
