Hi Scotty:
I took yesterday my car to the dealership so I could get a copy of my key and during the interview with the service agent I asked him if it was necessary for my vehicle to change the timing belt at 100k. For the moment I only have 85k but I would like to know your opinion since the adviser told me that it wasn't necessary on my vehicle. I have the 4cylinder 2.7 188 hp engine. I'll appreciate your time, you have a wonderful channel and thank you.

Well if they tried to sell you a timing belt they are crooks that car is a metal timing chain which generally never needs to be changed as long as you replace your oil all the time and change the filter those change generally last forever
