I was wondering if anybody has any recommendations for a large car cover. I'm going to put one on my '79 Pontiac Catalina for the winter and am not sure of anything that will cover a car so large. It would need to cover something that's nearly 18 feet long and 6 feet wide.
You can get custom-fit covers. They're pricey but will do the job.
(This is just an example, if you shop around you may find something less expensive.)
Thanks! I'll definitely shop around. I was thinking I may get a more generic one for now. I mainly want to keep the sun out of the inside and keep the rain off. The seats are in excellent shape because my girlfriend's parents used it as a collect-all. The junk kept 5 years of sunlight off the vinyl, and I'd like to keep it that way. Here in a few months I may be able to garage it.
Check out bass pro shops for a boat cover. they may have one to fit over the cat. or
go to harbor freight and get a 19x23 ft, tarp and a bunch of tent pegs.
they also sell a 10x20 canvas garage for around $170 that will do the trick.
