Good Afternoon,
I have been chasing a rattling noise with this car since a bought it. Lower and upper control arm bushing have been replaced. Front sway bar end links are in good condition. Front CV Axel Assemblies have been replaced as well as front struts, rear brakes and rear rotors.
I still have the rattling noise and for the life of me I can’t track it down! My local mechanic is perplexed, know one in the Audi forums has offered a solution that works.
Can someone off up a solution that I have not yet tried?

You could try a sound finding gadget like the ones that Scotty has demonstrated in his videos.

I’ll put that on the list. I found an exploded view of my front brake calipers, I think that I need to replace the anti rattle spring retainer. When I’m driving on rough/washboard roads I hear the rattle. The rattle goes away on smooth roads or when breaking.
