2014 Chevy Captiva 127,000 miles

i have a 2014 Chevy Captiva with 127,000 miles on it and the timing chain has snapped....what kind of labor am i looking at

Since you have an interference engine what you're looking at is whatever a replacement engine costs (quite a few thousands of dollars).

At the very least/best case scenario, you'll have bent/crushed valves that will need to be replaced.  Meaning the head would have to be pulled and the valves replaced.

It's more likely, though, that there will also be damage to the pistons, cylinder walls and so on. Worst case scenario, a thrown rod(s) might even have smashed a hole(s) in the engine block.   Replacing the engine is probably the only way forward in these situations.
