Hello, I’ve recently been looking at buying a car. I’ve come across a 2014 Ford Escape SE with 180,000 miles driven exclusively in the suburbs of NJ. It has a 1.6L I4 Turbocharged engine with AWD. I know the ford escapes have a lot of transmission issues but was wondering if it is worth buying for $4500?

It's a huge Gamble I personally wouldn't recommend it but you may get lucky

Not unless you're ready to spend another $5000 or more on a replacement transmission.
