Hi Scotty, my 2014 Honda Fit 18.000 miles on it is shaking when braking. I know for a fact that the pads need to be replaced, but Honda dealership suggested skimming the rotors before installing the pads. Is that really necessary or shall I just go with only the pads? Thank you.

shaking when braking
means that your rotors are probably warped and need to be replaced or resurfaced.
