I changed the battery in my 2014 honda pilot touring, do i have to go to the garage and put a scanner on the car to except that is has had a same but new battery exchange. No warning lights on the dash and car runs great. Just wondering incase, not doing so might lead into troubles down the road.

No, we changed the battery in our 2013 Odyssey (well over a year ago) and 2010 RDX (4 months ago) and didn’t have to do any setup in the cars other than the infotainment adjustments (clock, presets etc.) and both cars are starting and running like normal without issue.
I’d only worry if it does have starting & charging issues
