Scotty, we would really love to have your advice on my Lexus. Right now it has almost 90k and I need new brakes. I am an Uber driver, have any recommendations for best quality brakes that last a long time? Also do Lexus engines usually have a little valve clatter on idle and park? I do oil change every 3k-5k full synthetic at Valvoline. And if I wanted to do the brakes myself, is there anything complicated with Lexus rotors and pads front and back, or should I just pay to have them done.

Well I like the akebono brake pads they're excellent ceramic pads. I would stay away from the cheap chinese-made brake rotors so they aren't any good you're better with the factory ones. It is not that hard of a job watching my videos on replacing brake pads Scotty
And yes I'll often make a little valve clatter at 90,000 miles
