2014 Chevy Malubu shuts off when stopping at a stop light or applying break to a stop in traffic. The engine use to shift to battery in the rear. Now, the engine does not shift to the battery as a gas saving function. It just stalls out. Do I need to have the back trunk battery wire replaced since there appears to be a disconnect from allowing the engine to shift to the battery and back?

Well you just guessing there you would have to test the wiring to see if there's things that are corroded or loose connections it could be that. But start system stop systems I'm James are pretty crappy and a whole bunch of things go wrong from computer failure to sensor failure good luck on that one
