Hi guys
is a 2014 Mazda 6 a good first car. I’m looking for under 120k miles. Are they reliable. If yes does it matter if I get the Manuel or the automatic transmission. Thank you 🙏
Generally, the newer Mazdas are actually pretty well made. The thing is, 2014 is a bad year for the Mazda 6. Usually the Skyactiv automatics are decent but in 2014 they had problems (among other engine problems etc.) because it is the first year. You should always look into one that has been out a while, at least a 2015 2016 etc.
You would also want a mechanic to check it out to make sure it is in good mechanical shape via a pre-purchase inspection.
