I have a 2014 MKZ with approximately 80K miles and my sunshade on the panoramic sunroof is stuck halfway open (or closed depends how you look at it) and that prevents me from using my sunroof. I'd like to fix the sunshade or just remove it altogether; I live in Maine and don't really need the sunshade. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
Well realize if you're going to take that stuff apart you got to take the roof line or off and it's a gigantic mess. When I get them I try having somebody activate the system while I push and pull to try to get it in the position I wanted at. But if anything jams in there man it is just a real pain in the ass. That's one reason I absolutely hate sunroof. I think they're stupid and they create leaks and then when they break they cause the fortune to fix
Thanks Scotty, that's the answer I was afraid of! 😀 I'll see if I can get the sunshade in the fully open position without having to take it all apart.
