Hey Scotty,
I have a 2014 Ford Mustang GT standard transmission with almost 37K miles. I’m noticing that regardless of whether it’s hot or cold out the intake temp goes above the typical 20 degrees above outside temp to about 30-40, and the Cylinder head temperature stays at 205-207 degrees F. When I bought the car it only reached this temperature after (moderately) speeding. Now it stays at that temperature also while I’m not cruising and I’m wondering if that’s too hot, and if so what I could do to fix it.
(Ps I bought the car a year ago with 33k miles)
Please notify me when this is answered so I can check! Thanks and I love your show!!
Have you changed the intake? If not, have you checked the air filter to make sure it isn't clogged?
Thanks for the reply. It’s got a steeda pro flow intake and both are clean just did it last week along with the throttle body. I’m not sure if it’s the fan not functioning up to par, I’m also weary of getting others such as the gt500 which has tons of bad reviews and early failures.
