The car has 44000 miles with about 2/3 highway miles. I replace about 1/2 the transmission fluid every 6 months by siphoning through the dip stick tube( however there is no dipstick). The fluid is OEM and goes in blue but always comes out black. Should I have a mechanic drop the pan and replace the filter and all the fluid.

Yea I would have the filter replaced every 40-50k miles.
