Hi everyone, I recently purchased a new vehicle that is a 98 civic ex this may sound like a dumb question but compared to my 99 Avalon it's as if I feel the shifts more than in the Avalon, I'm assuming since Hondas are more sporty and that it's not a luxury car I feel the shifts more, the fluids clean it doesn't hunt for gears or slip, I just wanna know if that's just how Hondas are. Just want the car to be reliable because my past cars have died on me. It doesn't clunk or anything either. I might just be used to the smoother shifting luxury cars and the ect transmission

Check all your engine & transmission mounts.
If they’ve never been changed since 1998, I’d replace them all, but that’s just me.
