2014 Subaru BRZ. D-45 boxer
Hi! I have a 2014 6sp manual “TURBO CHARGED” Subaru BRZ with 64,000 miles! When I hit about 4K rpms the car acts like it is losing boost and jerks, the rpms jumó up and down, and then it takes off. Sometimes I continuously hear the turbo trying to blow off as if it was building too much boost
I have driven the car for several months now without and issue and then this issue started all of a sudden. Any idea what it could be? Thanks!!
I find your question quite puzzling. Are you talking about an aftermarket turbo? As far as I (and Wikipedia) know, the only turbo BRZ/86s are one-off "concept cars", and all the ones sold to the public are naturally aspirated. Or has it had a WRX motor swap? Let us know the details so we can answer your question and/or see that the Wikipedia page is updated.

Sounds like a botched after market turbo add on that was done wrong and is now loaded with carbon (burnt oil). If you don't let the car idle for a minute or two before shutting it off, the hot turbo cooks the oil.
Welcome new member; hope we can get you an answer. But...
@glen_stet is right, the BRZ did not come with a turbo, so we will need more info. The FA20 (naturally aspirated) motor in the BRZ is famous for a "torque dip" (loss of torque as RPM increases), but that comes on around 3000 RPM and is not an issue on modified FA20's with a turbo kit.
If it truly is a turbo BRZ, then its either got a kit (in which case, who knows) or an engine swap (in which case you could be looking at an ECU problem).
This is a great place for answers, but for something like this you are much better off going to a BRZ/FT86 forum such as https://www.ft86club.com/forums/
