2014 Toyota Camry with 145,000 miles. (My mechanic says) transmission is fine (and I believe him) but something (computer?) hesitates between 25 and 40 mph causing car to temporarily slow down.
What do I do?
This has been going on for 5 years.
I have never taken it to dealer.
S
Take it to the dealer NOW. You are nearing the end of the extended coverage on the transmission!
So I assume these don't apply to you?

(Official information from the National Highway and Traffic Safety Administration and Toyota)
Transmission issues are very common in the 2012-2014 including low speed hesitation and shuddering, especially between 20 and 40mph according to Scotty and these complaint sites.
But if your mechanic says it has nothing to do with the transmission, that is another story.

If you use the manual shifter, does it do the same?
Have your fuel pump pressure tested.
Are there any codes?
