Hey Scotty,
I have a 2014 VW Jetta Se 1.8l turbo. Its auto with the sports clutch. I pulled the code p2014. I was wondering how to clean the intake manifold without pulling apart my engine? I have read people using a vacuum line, pulling the upper map sensor out on the manifold itself and spraying through that port, or some kind of port on the side of the manifold. Which one would be best?
Thanks Chris
So I went ahead and replaced the sensor on the top of the manifold, and it popped the code again. I erased it and popped again. I exchanged it thinking it was just a bad sensor and damn thing popped again. Any ideas? I'm literally stumped
Check the connections.
Probably better to just replace the part. O'Reilly #667-108.
What part is that? It doesn't match my car when I searched. It asked for the runner control sensor which they don't have either
