2015 Accord Parking Brake

Hey Everyone,

I have an issue with the parking brakes on my 2015 accord. When I pull on the handle, it seems like it’s working perfectly fine, but when the car is lifted. The driver rear wheel turns freely, while the passenger one holds its place like a screw. I can’t see any broken or seized parts of the e-brake cable. I can see the lever moving when I pull in the e-brake. I already tried replacing the caliper on the driver side and readjusted the cable but still having the same issue.

when I went to adjust the cable from under the center console, I could see the mechanism that is holding the two cables and the adjusting screw is centered on is tilted. I’m not sure if that is the problem. Can anyone help me with this please?

Did any light appear on the dashboard?

Have you seen this?

Yes, I actually saw this, but I already replaced the entire caliper. I’m not exactly sure what to do next. The parking brake lever seems to be loose and moves from side to side, which seems odd, I wonder if this is part of the problem.

I didn’t actually pay attention to that. I will check and let you know.
