Hey guys,
So I have a 2015 Acura TLX V6, 75,XXX Miles. Got it about 6mnths ago and changed the down stream O2 Sensor as well as got a new(but cheap) battery. I've changed the oil but not the plugs.
The issue that I'm having is that after running the car for 30-45 mins(especially doing stop and go errands ie. Turning the car off and on) when i press that start button the car will react as if the battery is dead only doing half cranks. It will take 3-4 times pressing the bottom for the car to start up. No codes on the dash and the car starts up fine on cold starts every time. Any ideas???
You mentioned cheap battery...these new Hondas are sensitive to bad batteries.
Another thing that can cause this is the fuel pressure regulator.
The new J series are notorious of early fuel injector failure.
Understood. Thanks for the tip! Ill invest in a better battery and cross my fingers that the issue goes away, if not ill check out the fuel injectors.
Wouldn't the fuel injectors cause a error code to flag off?
