Hi! I own a 2015 Cadillac ATS 2.0T (second owner-bought with low miles) and it has about 30k miles and I drive it locally. I've been driving it for 3 years with no issues so far.. Is this a good dependable motor and car for this year of Cadillac? My husband is worried about the turbo.

Some say the 2.0T has a habit of pistons self-destructing. I'd also be concerned about how the electronics hold up.

Recommendations from the above:
Stuff to help the motor if you own a 2.0T, from the info I have gathered over the last 3+years:
- only use API SN Plus certified full synthetic 5W30 motor oil
- only fill up with top tier certified 93 octane fuel
- install 1 step colder spark plugs (this is even 1 step colder than the dealer "fix" in early LTG models
- run a catch can(s)
- wait until the car reaches full operating temperature before getting into heavy boost
- don't lug the motor
- try to avoid heat soak
Thank you! 😊

2.0T engine is somewhat weak and they are known for electrical issues, so I would be skeptical about it lasting 100k miles.
