Good evening Scotty, I have a question regarding the purchase of a 2015 Silverado LT with 99,000 miles. It has a 5.3 Ecotec3 with a 6 speed automatic. If I do purchase it, it will be from a dealer.

the engines use direct injection and cylinder deactivation. Big thumbs down.

Not a smart idea. Get a Tundra or F150 instead.

I would pass on that. The last time GM made better (more reliable) 1/2-ton trucks was 2006 and earlier. Their HD trucks (2500-series) are much better than their 1500-series, however, so maybe consider that if you have to stick with a GM truck.
