Hi, do someone here know when a Bmw car that has a V8 need a timing chain change? The owner of the car says that is has been changed when the car had 200t miles on it and now it has arround 366t miles and isn’t time for a new timing chain change if i bye it?
Well actually they have an indefinite lifespan as their lubricated by the oil inside the engine. If they start to rattle or they don't run right and you check with a timing light and see that the timing is off then they need replacing but normally they really don't if you change the oil frequently

I did test drive the Bmw car today but i didn’t by it because the cooling temp has a problem when i drove it the temp didn’t Rise at all. And i we’re little affraid if the car Will overheat when u can’t see if it Will. And the car was leaking oil too. And u could smell the oil too when u drove it and it isn’t so good that.
Do u have any advice about the problems? Sould i by it or curently thinking about the car because it was pretty nice car afterall
