There are no idiot or trouble lights present. When I am at a complete stop, The car hesitates, seems to loose engine power momentarily when I try to excellerate quickly (pedal about half way down or more) from a stop. This does not happen when the car is moving. The car seems to idle fine and runs smoothly when driving. I did recently replace the battery because it was not taking a full charge, and died after a few days of not driving. Other than that i have had no trouble with the car. The car has about 190,000 miles and recieved all dealer recommended service up until 110,000 miles and since then only oil changes and air filters when recommended by oil change staff. Once again there are no dash lights on.
Have you load tested the alternator?
Try temporarily turning off the traction control and see if it behaves any differently.
A lot of modern cars have very crappy traction control systems that slam the brakes or don't let the car accelerate.
Also have you updated the TCM on these? I remember these having a software issue that ruins the CVT.
