2015 Dodge Journey

My car has been at the dealership for over 2 months. I was told the part that my car needed was on hold because it kept failing. This is a part that has already been recalled once. Am I responsible for this part? It is the abs module and it says hcu internal short. At this point I don't know what do to. I feel something isn't right but I don't know about cars. Thank you.

Am I responsible for this part?

Unless there is an active recall, or a service campaign that extends the warranty on that part to the current day, you'd be responsible for the parts in a decade-old vehicle.

If you haven't done so already you should contact Chrysler Customer Care about the problem.

@chucktobias Thank you!

Time to walk in there and start cracking some skulls.. metaphorically

@itwt Yeah, that is just horrible that they do that to customers.
