Hey a co worker was talking bout wanting a diesel truck and he brought up a 2015-2016 Dodge ram diesel but I don't know anything bout diesel engines to know which ones to avoid when it comes to dodge Ford or Chevy. Any suggestions

The diesel engines in heavy duty trucks like 3/4 or 1 ton are generally well made. The Ram 2500/3500 are ok with the diesels but not 1500 ones with diesel they're garbage.
