Hi, I am at 150k miles on my 2015 f150 ecoboost. Im getting conflicting info. Manufacture recommends fluid and filter change at 150k. It has not been previously done to my knowledge. Someone also said that Ford recommends a flush after the change, but I had a previous tranny on a Nissan fail after a flush. Is 150k too many miles to change the fluid and can it cause problems, although this is the manufacture's recommendation. What service would you advise. No current issue on vehicle.
With 150K on the clock, you should be at your third trans fluid and filter change by now. I would change them out, do not flush, and keep the old fluid if problems arise and hope for the best. How many times have you changed your engine oil and filter in 150K miles?
