  1. I have a 2015 Jeep cherokee 2.4L 4CYL sport model. Started overheating abruptly so I pulled over immediately and turned the engine off. Apparently The radiator started leaking abruptly while i was driving - so badly that it would pour out as fast as i put it in, leaking on the drivers side below the battery somewhere (or so it seemed). Prior to the moment it was overheating, the engine had been running for about 15 minutes but was below half on the heat meter. Took it to the auto mechanic, supposedly trustworthy, he says he can replace the radiator but it'll probably happen again soon if the thermostat is busted. Said to fix both for parts and labor including evac and recharge he could do it for 1250$. Am i getting ripped off? {black}:idontknow:

From what I read on this thread, the price is a tad high but not crazy high.
