I need to change the CVT fluid but was wondering if I can use a compatible brand of CVT fluid instead of the Nissan OEM CVT-2. I heard Valvoline CVT is good. Thank you for your help.

CVTs are very particular about their fluids, use only OEM fluid to be safe.
