So I’m on the lookout for a new car, and one car I’m looking at is a 2015 Kia Rio, I’d love to know if you think it’s reliable or a good car. Thank you!

I would go with something like a Toyota or Honda if you are looking at a Rio. There are better offerings and Kia is essentially Hyundai, and neither have great build quality reputations.

It could be an okay car for 100k miles but after that is a big gamble. A same year Toyota Yaris or Honda Fit would be a lot more reliable.
But if you find one with like 40 50k miles in good condition and a mechanic says the engine and transmission are in good shape, it could be a good car for the next 5 6 years, but no more.
