Hi Scotty,
We have a 2015 Kia Sorento and when we close the sunroof it closes partially and then opens again. Would you have an idea in what is causing this problem.

Well, it's a Kia and they can't even make a sunroof. There is a reason why they go for cheap, they are just not well made.
